FAQs

Q: What is the difference between a Labradoodles and a Multigeneration Australian Labradoodle?

A: A Labradoodle is the result of a cross between a Labrador Retriever to a Poodle, Labradoodle to Poodle, or Labradoodle to Labradoodle. The DNA comes from the Labrador Retriever and Poodle breeds only.

In the late 1980's two breeding research centers in Australia, Tegan Park and Rutland Manor, began carefully infusing several other breeds into early generations of their Lab/Poodle crosses, to improve temperament, coat, conformation, and size. The infused breeds include: Curly Coated Retriever, Irish Water Spaniel as well as the American and English Cocker Spaniel. Through extremely selective, handpicked and careful breeding the resulting labradoodles were bred to each other, generation after generation which progressed into the asthma and allergy friendly, non-shedding, clam-natured  Multigeneration Australian Labradoodles we know and love today.

Q.What'st the difference between genders?

A: With the Australian Labradoodles both genders are very calm, happy, smart, lovable and sweet. Males and females will have the same temperament and do not develop gender specific traits. Males are not always larger than females. Either gender will make a perfect family companion.

Q: When can we visit the puppies?

A: Our puppies health and well-being are our primary concern. Puppies under the age of 16 weeks have not received a complete set of vaccinations and are susceptible to all types of bacteria and viruses. We do not allow visitors unless you have we have a deposit. Families with a deposit will pick their puppy with our guidance at 8 weeks of age on go home day. We ask that families come wearing clean clothing which hasn't been exposed to other animals or contaminates that may harm the puppies.
